Hopeline provides information about adoption, single parenting and marriage, as well as accurate information concerning abortion and abortion alternatives. Hopeline has offices in Bridgeport, Danbury, and New Milford, Connecticut.

Intercessory Prayer

1Cor. 2:16b in The Living Bible says: ...prayer moves the hands of God." Therefore, we understand that our prayers can bring salvation, healing, deliverance to a lost, hurt, dying world. Our prayers can bring revival. We can change not only OUR Nation but the nations of the world. We can overcome strongholds and bring them down in the Name of Jesus when we pray BELIEVING. Ezekiel 22:30 says: "and I sought for a man among them that should make up the hedge and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none."

God has always sought for a person - ONE person - to stand in the gap whether it is for one person or for a nation - and to build a hedge to turn the hearts of the people away from sin and back to the Lord. We know that the Gospel is hid to those that are lost because"... the god of this world (Satan) has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ, Who is the image of God, should shine unto them..." God expects His people to pray.
